Work lately has left me without any desire to play around on the computer when I get home (honestly I'd much rather make boffer weapons at this point, it's sooooo much more productive). Also I have to do my taxes.

Sorry to all the folks who were asking me questions about stuff...I will return to active status soon!

Things I am working on but am too lazy to post after spending 8 hours on the computer solving other peoples' problems:

- Finishing up those darn sketches (Whu? I didn't finish something? Preposterous!)
- Learning how to ink in GIMP (oh noes why is it so tedious?)
- A fanart of Willow from Buffy (...I have nothing to say that could justify this. I wanted it.)
- Big foam shields for my LARP (Gaff tape...it hurts my wallet.)
- Design for a dragon mask made from Crayola Model Magic (trying to figure out if I can varnish that stuff.)

In other news, the new M:TG expansion is named after my LARP! So if you happen to play Magic, I hear we're going to get credit in the rulebook for the Shadowmoor set.

I am reveling in several layers of geekery right now.

The whole "mono will come back to haunt you, weak immune system lulz!" problem, I guess. I am hemorrhaging (haha I had to look up how to spell that) snot and all kinds of gross things I'm sure you totally wanted to hear about.

And yet I show up to work...why god why?, I'm sure my coworkers ask themselves as I spread germs.

Wow, all that and I'm not even taking any drugs! Hey wait...I have drugs! Yaaaay DayQuil.

Whoa.

So, things that have happened in the PAST YEAR (gasp!) since I actually updated this darn thing:

- Graduated (summa cum laude)
- Moved to Raleigh
- Got a job (Cisco)
- Got married (Kevin)
- Went temporarily insane and quit all my usual activities except pretty much eating and bathing
- Got mono
- Got over mono
- Started behaving like an adult kinda. Rented a house. Paid bills. Cursed the economy.
- Turned 21 (and I still don't drink any amount worth mentioning!)
- Started playing WOW

Yeah I know, WOW, and I said I would never fall for that. It's PRETTY! Catch me on Elune or Scryers if you wanna share my addiction...

And dear lord, I have 869 deviations to view.

Wow. WOW. What the hell happened? I used to visit DA every day to check out the new arts posted by my friends...and post my own art...and then...college! Grad school! GRE! New job!

Well, my birthday came and went. I'm 20 now, that's kinda weird. And contrary to popular belief I actually HAVE done some art stuff. I really need to get a new camera - most of the new things have been textile-related. I've painted a few custom polyhedral sets, and I'm about to start a featherworking project. No idea how that will go, since I've never done it before, but I have about 6 pheasants' worth of tailfeathers and down that are just BEGGING to be integrated into my much-planned, never-implemented bird costume.

But I know I at LEAST promised you guys some new art. One has been posted now; I wish I had time to work on more. I'm hoping once school is out for Christmas break I'll have an opportunity to show you all some of the new things I've come up with.
